Ulexite

Ulexite is a fibrous mineral that exhibits an optical phenomenon where images can be transferred from the bottom of the stone, to the top similarly to a television screen, giving it the nick name “TV Stone”. Ulexite was one of the major inspirations for fiber optic cables. It is an important resource for the element boron, and has also been used in aerospace technologies.
