Apatite

Apatite is a mineral found in a variety of colors including blue, violet, pink, green, yellow, and brown. Apatite found in mountain ranges can be used by thermal scientists to track temperature changes overtime for that area. Moon rocks discovered by astronauts during the Apollo project in the 1960’s contained traces of apatite.
